• June 19, 2009: The Seton Legacy DVD
  “The Seton Legacy” DVD is a 30-minute documentary of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton’s life, work, and continuing legacy of charity today. The film is seen and narrated through the eyes of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. Online purchases may be made through the online gift shop at www.setonshrine.org, or by calling the Gift Shop at 301-447-7122.
• May 29, 2009: Seton Legacy of Charity Medal Awards Held
  "...Recognizing women and men who portray characteristics of Elizabeth Ann is a very direct way of acknowledging the strong influence of our Saintly Foundress..." noted Sister Mary Jean Horne, DC, medal ceremony committee chair.
• May 27, 2009: Seton Legacy Prayer Garden

• April 17, 2009: Daughters Renew Vows
  The sisters prayed that Mother Seton’s dispositions be theirs on this occasion. Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton had written her friend Julia Scott: “So far I can express…to speak the joy of my soul at the prospect of being able to assist the Poor, visit the sick, comfort the sorrowful, clothe little innocents, and teach them to love God!”
• February 1, 2009: Radio Broadcast on Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton
  Sister Betty Ann McNeil, D.C., Provincial Archivist, retells the story about Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in a radio program interview conducted by the Harrisbug Diocese Catholic Perspectives radio program.
• January 9, 2009: 600 People Celebrated Opening of Bicentennial
  The Bicentennial Year for the Daughters and Sisters of Charity opened on Sunday, January 4, 2009 with a crowd of 600 visitors and guests attending.
• January 2, 2009: Collage Reflects 200 Year History
  A three-dimensional work of art depicts 200 years of history, charity, and dedication, begun by a small band of women under the inspiration of Elizabeth Ann Seton.
• January 2, 2009: Seton Legacy Prayer Garden

  The Seton Legacy DVD is a multi-award winning documentary of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton's life. EWTN will air the DVD on January 4, 2010 - the Feast Day of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton - at two convenient times: January 4, 3:30 a.m. & 6:00 p.m. (Eastern time)
